SITA Northern Ireland forges strategic partnership to bid for sustainable waste management contracts in Northern Ireland
Recycling and waste management company, SITA Northern Ireland (NI), has formed a strategic partnership to tender for sustainable waste management contracts in the province.
The partnership comprises Royal Bank of Scotland, Von Roll Inova, a world leader in thermal treatment technology and two leading companies in Northern Ireland: recycling specialist, Natural World Products (NWP) and construction company, Graham.
This local partnership has members with a long and respected history of doing business in Northern Ireland and aims to work closely with government and local authorities across the province to help them not just meet but exceed the standards set by the government waste strategy and EU directive targets. The partnership will offer:
- The ability to build, operate, and finance waste management infrastructure;
- The ability to swiftly close large scale, complex transactions;
- A demonstrable track record of working closely and respectfully with the
local community and exceeding environmental standards; - Continuous and permanent access to technical expertise and technology
proven in the EU; and - The ability to contribute to economic development in Northern Ireland.
