HazXchange service

The hazXchange service is a simple and easy to use solution for smaller hazardous waste needs.

Designed to compliment a waste management service, the hazXchange service removes all the day-to-day hassle of dealing with smaller amounts of hazardous waste, and ensures compliance with the Landfill Directive 2002 and the Hazardous Waste Regulations 2005.

• The empty containers are lightweight, weatherproof and durable.
• The 60 litre containers are UN approved and stackable. They are about the same size as a household storage box, so they will not take up vital space in business premises.
• The container has a secure interlocking lid, sealing the container safely.
• The container can hold mixed hazardous waste up to a maximum weight limit of 18kg for a fixed rate (some restrictions may apply). This means that only minimal training is required for business employees and excessive time is not spent on segregating waste.
• As a separate service, the same vehicle can also collect fluorescent tubes.
• The paperwork is simple to complete. We will give an accurate weight every time, so that the necessary legal quarterly returns to the Environment Agency can be completed with ease.
• A scheduled collection service will be agreed to meet individual requirements.
