Working with the community

SITA UK takes its responsibility towards the environment and people and their environment very seriously.

Awareness of environmental issues has never been more important than it is today.  Our educational efforts aim to encourage a sense of responsibility for the natural environment whilst considering the impact that humans have on the Earth’s resources and on all living creatures.  For more information, take a look at our education pages.

SITA UK is also helping Brownies go green!  Information and adventure plans with activities for Brownie Packs to enjoy learning about 'Reduce, Reuse and Recycle' are available to download.  

As part of the work SITA UK does with the community, three examples of community groups are detailed in case studies and details of our current proposals for a variety of facilities can be viewed in proposals and exhibitions.
