Education pack
We have designed an education pack for teachers at Key Stages 2 and 3 of the National Curriculum to use during their lessons. Written with professionals in the educational sector, this pack promotes and highlights the important environmental issues facing our children now and in the future.
Awareness of environmental issues has never been more important than it is today. With this pack, SITA UK aims to encourage a sense of responsibility for the natural environment whilst considering the impact that humans have on the Earth’s resources and on all living creatures. The pack highlights the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling products and materials and encourages a change in attitude and responsibility towards the earth and its resources. It asks pupils to consider how the earth sustains humans, and identify the steps we can all take to play a part in sustainability, the 3R’s and sorting at source.
All content is applicable to the National Curriculum and focuses on the 3R’s- reduce, reuse and recycle. Visit the teacher's section to find out more.
SITA UK's Green Team
SITA UK's Green Team are animated characters designed to compliment and help re-inforce school-based learning. The team - Josh, Suzie, Ali and Milly - introduce viewers to the waste journeys (paper, glass, aluminium, plastic, composting, landfill and energy-from-waste), a recycling game, and some colour & keep prints.
