Since 1989, SITA UK has operated many street-cleansing contracts, including the responsibility for keeping the streets of the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea swept and litter free.
Our street cleansing teams are fully equipped with a blend of manpower and sweeping vehicles to meet all needs.
SITA UK is able to provide other services alongside a street cleansing operation. These include:

- Autumn leaf fall collections
- Markets – waste collections and end of day cleansing
- Winter salting of footpaths and cycleways in the town centres and outside schools and subway approaches during severe weather conditions
- Gum cleaning from pavements
