SITA UK qualifies to submit proposals for the Arc21 residual waste treatment project

The largest recycling and waste management company in Northern Ireland, SITA UK, has successfully qualified to submit proposals for the Arc21 Residual Waste Treatment Project.

David Palmer-Jones, Chief Executive Officer of SITA UK, said; “SITA UK has had a presence in Northern Ireland for over a decade and is the largest and most experienced recycling and waste management company in Northern Ireland. As part of the multinational SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT group we have access to global technical expertise and cutting-edge technology proven in the EU and a track record of building, operating, and financing waste management facilities worldwide.

“We will apply our international experience and technical expertise as we develop a sustainable proposal for managing residual household waste in Northern Ireland. We treat waste as a valuable resource and understand the value of working closely with the communities in which we operate.”

SITA UK is working in partnership with Royal Bank of Scotland, Von Roll Inova and two local companies Natural World Products (NWP) and construction company, Graham. The partnership has access to expert advice, including legal advice from Allen & Overy and A&L Goodbody and financial advice from KPMG, and is backed by the Ulster Bank.
